The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Fisheries Museum is located close to the Andaman Water Sports Complex in Port Blair. It displays more than 100 marine species, which are peculiar to the islands and those found in the Indo-Pacific and the Bay of Bengal.

Samudrika means pertaining to Sea, the perpetual treasure house of life. The Naval Museum Samudrika was established in the year 1992. The Samudrika Naval Maritime Museum, preserves the history of the marine culture of the region and it is maintained by the Indian Navy and preserves over 350 species of varieties types of marine species.
It exhibits and explains various strata of oceanic life through Geology, Geography, Habitation and the history of settlement. This wide spectrum covered makes Samudrika the star attraction for the visitors in Port Blair.

The science centre has contained many corners like Quiz Corner, Fun Science Gallery, etc. This science centre explains the science of oceans, while allowing the visitors to create waves of varying parameters and explore their features. Here you can see the youngest rock sample found in India.

Chatham Saw Mill is one of the oldest and largest saw mills in Asia. Conversion of huge firewood into different sizes of timber is done in Chatham Saw Mill and is supplied to private and government departments at a reasonable price. The mill is connected to Port Blair by a bridge and it is owned by the Forest Department.
